Former Harrogate Railway midfielder Alex Metcalfe is back in Yorkshire after signing for Tadcaster Albion.
Metcalfe, who has also played for Harrogate Town, Scarborough Athletic and Ossett Albion, finished last season with Kettering Town.
Albion boss Michael Morton said: “This is a big coup for the club. He’s exactly the calibre of player that we are looking to attract.
“He holds lots of experience playing at this level as well as higher. He will fit straight into our plans.
“He’s undoubtedly an exciting acquisition and one that we are looking forward to working with. He’s got fantastic flair and the ability to cut teams open.”
