Pontefract centre-back Jimmy Williams is to captain the Colls in the Evo Stik
Popular defender Jimmy Williams is to captain Pontefract Collieries during the club’s historic first campaign in the Evo Stik League.
His close friend and colleague Andy Seed is also staying with the Colls and will be the club’s vice-captain.
The pair were key players at the Colls romped to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title.
The Colls management team said: “We are obviously delighted that 2 of our most consistent performers over the last two years have committed to the club.
“They are both well respected lads within the club and the dressing room and we look forward to working closely with them as we look to deliver another successful season.”
