Young attacking midfielder Jack Knight has signed for promotion hopefuls Glasshoughton Welfare.
Knight has been an academy scholar at FC Halifax Town for the past two years under Steve Nichol, who managed Garforth Town in the late 2000s and is arguably the club’s greatest manager.
The youngster was part of the Halifax which lost to Chester FC in the National League Alliance Cup final in May.
Glasshoughton visit Yorkshire Amateur on Saturday.
