Promotion-winner Connor Smythe has found his new challenge after signing for runaway Toolstation NCEL Premier Division champions Pontefract Collieries.
Smythe left promoted AFC Mansfield at the end of the season because he wanted a new challenge.
The young left-back has a growing reputation in the game from spells with Handsworth Parramore, Mansfield and Rainworth MW.
He made his debut in Pontefract’s shock 3-2 defeat to Selby Town on Saturday.
