Andy Watmuff will lead a team from the 1990/91 North West Counties Division promotion-winning and West Riding County Cup winning squad.
Current Hemsworth Miners Welfare manager Wayne Benn has put together a side from the 2001 NPL Division One title-winning squad. Club icons Andy Hayward, Tony Brown, Dean Calcutt and Tom Greaves are among those set to appear.
The festival actually starts at 5pm with a beer festival. There is live music at 8pm and free admission.
The festivities continue during Saturday’s home game against Altrincham.
The three day event finishes on Sunday. It begins with the old Sunday side against fans at 12 noon.
The ex-players match follows this and the event is to be rounded off with a junior Dads versus lads and BPA ladies v Brighouse ladies.
Beer will continue to flow with food, raffles and side stalls, again admission is free. The charities to benefit are Marie Curie hospice and BPA community trust.
