Nostell Miners Welfare have solved their goalkeeping crisis by dual-registering young Stocksbridge Park Steels stopper Jordan Greaves.
Greaves is set to make his Welfare bow when Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton’s men face Worsbrough Bridge on Saturday.
The managerial duo were forced to look for a new goalkeeper as Gary Stevens and Matt Brooke are injured.
Dodsworth told Non League Yorkshire: “I’d like to thank Hilts (Steels boss Chris Hilton) for letting us have Jordan. With Gary and Matt injured, we had to do something.
“Jordan comes with great pedigree. He had a great year with Athersley Rec last season and he’s had a taste of Evo Stik this season, as well as on a few occasions last season.”
