Midfielder Kieran Scargill has linked up with his former Athersley Rec manager and mentor Jason Dodsworth after signing for Nostell Miners Welfare.
He is the second brand new player at Crofton Community Centre following the capture of wing wizard Richard Collier.
Scargill, who is best known for his association with Athersley, has also played for Ossett Albion, Handsworth and Stocksbridge Park Steels.
He was also a key member of the Pontefract Collieries side which cantered to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title last year.
Nostell have so far retained most of last season’s squad, with more to be announced, alongside the signings of Collier and Scargill.
