Lee Ashforth will head back to his old club Harrogate Railway in his first competitive game as joint manager of Campion.
The Division One clash at Station View is part of the Toolstation NCEL opening fixture list which has been released on Sunday morning.
Ashforth spent many years as Railway’s goalkeeper before becoming the assistant manager during Billy Miller’s memorable three-years in charge. He was then hoisted to the throne in 2015 after Miller left for Tadcaster Albion.
He spent over a year at the helm and held managerial roles at Brighouse Town, Ossett Town and Clitheroe before the appointment at Campion in May.
The game will also see Des Macorison take charge of Railway for the first time in the league. Macorison is attempting to arrest the scary slide Railway have been on since the great days of Miller and Ashforth.
Other stand out fixtures include North Ferriby’s first ever competitive match being a home tie with Hallam and Selby Town’s clash with fellow promotion-favourites Skegness Town at Richard Street.
Adam Priestley’s official return to Garforth Town is a home game against Handsworth in the Premier Division.
The full list can be seen on the NCEL website.
