Former Brighouse Town and Mossley striker Mike Fish enjoyed a dream Golcar United debut as his hat-trick propelled them to a 5-1 victory at Garstang in the North West Counties
Golcar came from behind to record their second league win of the First Division North campaign having gone in at the break 1-0 down.
Dave Conway’s left-footed strike levelled proceedings before Fish and Alex Hallam took over things from there to push Golcar to three points.
Emley AFC recorded a second consecutive victory with the straight-forward 4-2 success at Daisy Hill.
Jimmy Eyles got two and Rob Bordman also scored a penalty. There was also a very rare goal for Josh Ingham.
Despite former Emley man Antony Leech’s opener, Shelley lost 2-1 to Prestwich Heys.
Steeton lost 3-1 at Atherton LR – Bailey Coates got their goal.
