Tom Dugdale signed for Knaresborough in the summer, but is currently recovering from injury

Knaresborough Town manager Paul Stansfield hopes to have top left-winger Tom Dugdale available for selection in over a month.

Knaresborough supporters are hoping to get the chance to meet and greet their new signing tomorrow as Stansfield says that Dugdale may in the crowd cheering on his new team-mates against Yorkshire Amateur at Manse Lane.

The former Farsley Celtic, Thackley, Brighouse Town and Frickley Athletic star was signed from Eccleshill United in July, but is currently recuperating from an operation.

“Hopefully another month (before he’s ready) and he’s hopefully coming down Saturday to watch,” Stansfield said.

“He had a knee operation in June and he’s on the bike working really hard. The swelling has gone down. It will be great when we have him available.

“(Current Knaresborough assistant) Paul (Clayton) was his assistant manager at Thackley so I’ve heard a lot about him when he was there

“He then scored a load of goals for Handsworth and then got a lot of goals for Frickley.”
