Penistone Church romped into the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup second round after putting five past Grimethorpe without reply.
Grimethorpe were easy meat for Penistone, who now have a really strong squad because of the returns of Jordan Coduri, Tom Brennan, Kieran Ryan and Nathan Keightley.
But it was two other players who got them off to a flyer.
Billy Law got the opener in the second minute before Shaun Mundy doubled it quarter of an hour later after the Grimethorpe goalkeeper spilled a corner.
Brett Lovell leapt like a salmon for third from a corner on the stroke of half-time.
Mundy got his second in the second half with a well-executed finish from the edge of the penalty area.
Keightley completed the rout with a very individual effort.
The Kevin Keegan style of football at Worsbrough Bridge continued as Lee Morris’ men won 7-3 against Frechville at Park Road.
A Kyle Wordsworth hat trick with goals from Kieran Hirst, Ash Emmett, Danny Palmer and Robbie Miller secured the win in front of 72 people.
