Craig Parry has bolstered his Pontefract Collieries forward line with the signing of prolific striker Sam Agar.
Agar, who is in back in his home county, has served in the Army. He is also a former Bradford City and Halifax Town apprentice. He played for Selby Town many years ago during the Bob Lyon era, along with Ossett Albion.
In more recent years, he has scored a lot of goals for Newark Flowserve in the Midlands.
Ager was the man of the match in the FA’s 125th Anniversary match between the Army and the FA Legends in 2013. The Army were managed by Stuart Pearce, while then-England manager Roy Hodgson led the Legends side.
