On loan Manchester United goalkeeper Jacob Carney is set to make his last Stocksbridge Park Steels appearance on Saturday.

Carney’s successful loan deal comes to an end and he will return to Old Trafford after playing against Grant Black’s Belper Town in the BetVictor South East.

Carney, the son of Andy, the legendary former Steels goalkeeper who ironically managed Belper for a number of years, has been excellent for Stocksbridge.

The youngster has a big future ahead of him and it will be no surprise if he ends up playing in the Premier League.

Ed Hall is set to return from injury after Saturday.
