The abandoned Worsbrough Bridge – Hallam clash in the Toolstation NCEL Division has been rearranged for Saturday 1st February 2020 – despite frivolous calls for the result to stand.
It has been rightly rearranged as per league rules.
The August match was halted early with Hallam leading 4-0 after 53 minutes after floodlight failure during one of the worst storms the country has had this year.
Worsbrough faced a barrage of ridiculous criticism over the situation which could happen at any ground in the country.
Lee Morris, who had been harshly sent out of the ground during the match, was also trolled on Twitter and described as “some kind of football hooligan” by numerous keyboard warriors.
