Super-sub Finn Donovan enjoyed a memorable comeback to Emley after scoring the dramatic last minute winner in the 3-2 victory at St Helens Town.
Donovan, the son of former Huddersfield Town player Kevin, kept his cool to finish after Declan Dawson played him through in the dying embers of the North West Counties clash.
Richard Tracey’s Emley had surrendered an early lead in the trip to St Helens. Alex Metcalfe had headed home from inches out to give them a 35th minute lead.
But a quick-fire double from St Helens through Joe Clark and Henry Kamara on the stoke of half-time put the hosts in front.
Emley hit back on the hour through Rob Bordman’s trademark net-busting free kick and the rest was left to young Donovan.
