Young Red Bates has joined Hemsworth Miners Welfare after leaving Liversedge.
Bates signed forms on Tuesday night as the Wells narrowly beat old rivals AFC Mansfield 2-1 in Fitzwilliam to go second in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table.
Bates, is the son of former Nostell Miners Welfare manager Terry, who a coach at Liversedge and is staying in his post.
