Lee Morris has made one addition to his Worsbrough Bridge ahead of tonight’s trip to heavily injury-hit Nostell Miners Welfare.
However the new player will have to wait for his debut as although the game is subject to a pitch inspection due to the monsoon forecast for later, he is unavailable anyway.
Forward Alfie Dodsworth has joined from Handsworth and popular player Joe Thornton is looking forward to playing with him again.
“Technically gifted, Alfie will be a perfect addition to our hard, honest working squad,” he said.
“I believe I can get the best of Alfie’s undoubtable talent. Thanks to Russ Eagle and Steve Holmes for making the transfer happen and continues my good relationship with all at Handsworth.”
