Former Eccleshill United boss Sean Regan has returned to Liversedge to become the club’s new assistant manager.
The highly-regarded A-Licensed coach was previously the the manager of ‘Sedge a decade ago and he makes his way back on the week his old protege Paul Walker re-signed for the club.
Regan managed ‘Sedge during the 2009/10 season, but had to resign in the summer of 2010 after landing a coaching role with Scunthorpe United in their academy. He was succeeded by Billy Miller.
Regan ends a six month break from football to take the new role with ‘Sedge. After a superb three-and-half-year stint in charge of Eccleshill, Regan stood down in the summer to look for a new challenge.
Now he is back assisting Jonathan Rimmington in the Clayborn dugout.
