Former player and manager Tony Hackworth has rejoined Pickering Town as first team coach under new boss Steve Roberts.
Hackworth replaced Mitch Cook in late 2014 and led Pickering for the rest of the season before stepping down in May 2015 for personal reasons, paving the way for the Paul Marshall era.
Former Leeds United striker Hackworth arrives in time for Roberts’ first game in charge at Ramsbottom United tomorrow.
The arrival of Roberts has led to the departure of player/coach Ryan Blott who follows Denny Ingram out of the door.
