Experienced academy coach Lee Burgess has joined Lee Ashforth and James Bicknell’s management team at Campion.
The leading Toolstation NCEL Division One club have appointed Burgess, who has worked at Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and FC Halifax Town and will have a great knowledge of local talent scene.
He has also worked in Singapore where he was an Academy Director for the ESPZEN Soccer School.
Joint managers Ashforth and Bicknell are delighted to have Burgess on board and former Harrogate Railway boss Ashforth said: “We are looking to continue the development of Campion F as the club has progressed over the last few years.
“The disappointment of not gaining promotion this season due to the ongoing situation has been unfortunate, but we are now planning to improve again and bringing in Lee to add to the current staff is something we have worked hard to make happen. He will help us to improve the way we develop and work off the pitch.”
