Experienced midfielder Adam Hayton is to be player/coach as part of Ian Walker’s new look Nostell Miners Welfare.
Walker plans to reveal his full backroom staff at a later date, but he has confirmed the return the popular midfielder who has played at Nostell under Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton.
Walker believes Hayton will be a fantastic influence to his younger players and will pass on a wealth of experience and quality.
Hayton and Walker have a great relationship as the midfielder has been helping coach Walker’s youth squads over the last couple of years.
Hayton’s playing career has included spells with Ossett Albion, Wakefield FC and Glasshoughton Welfare as well as Nostell.
