Harrogate Railway have appointed a new goalkeeping coach and two youth development officers.
Former Harrogate Town stopper Lee Steel takes up the post of goalkeeper coach under manager Mick O’Connell’s new regime.
Steel is well known around Harrogate on the local football circuit and is an experienced coach. Across three spells in the 1980s and 1990s, Steel made 123 appearances for Town.
Ryan Smith joins as head of youth development and he will work closely with Railway junior coach Richard Foster, who has been elected Youth Development Officer.
Smith’s most recent role was with Harrogate Town as a coach in their youth section.
Railway have also confirmed Liam Chapman and Casey Jayne Little as their match-day physios.
