Scarborough Athletic have won the race to sign former Farsley Celtic and Harrogate Railway striker Nathan Cartman.
It is unclear when the NPL Premier Division season will begin, but Scarborough are one of several clubs who are announcing committals/signings.
Cartman left Farsley following the abrupt closure to the football season and instantly attracted attention because of his goal machine antics with Farsley, Darlington and Railway.
Darren Kelly told Scarborough’s official website: “Nathan fits perfectly into what we are building at Scarborough Athletic. He is a real statement of intent, due to the fact he is a proven goalscorer, who will bring more experience and professionalism to the squad.
“Nathan has been successful at every club he has been at, we are delighted to bring him in because he is a big coup for the club. When next season finally comes around we will be basing much of our play on the attacking side of things, which is what Nathan is all about.”
