Midfield dynamo Jed Phillips and goal machine Mitch Dunne are two of Louis Axcell’s new signings at Maltby Main.
Phillips, who also counts Hallam and Worksop Town as former clubs, and Dunne both know Axcell and Bamforth from their. Handsworth days when they came through the highly-acclaimed youth set-up at Olivers Mount.
Dunne also played under Bamforth at Hallam.
Dunne is the statement signing as he is still only young and he scored in the NPL last season for Sheffield FC and Gainsborough Trinity.
Reece Treasure, another ex-Hallam man is the third capture. The forward has previously played NPL football for Brighouse Town and Sheffield FC.
Full-back Ashley Cooper, the former Goole captain, joins from Barton Town, while midfielder John Williams is the final signing. He was a Lincoln United player last season.
