Selby Town manager Christian Fox has finally landed long term targets George Bissett and Garforth Town record goal-scorer Mark Simpson.
Fox has chased the pair for at least two years and will be delighted to have captured his two new prized assets.
Versatile man Bissett joins from Pickering Town, but also boasts experience from playing for Tadcaster Albion. His younger brother Harry has played for Selby for a while and assuming he also re-signs, it ensures the Bissett family entourage will not be separated on a Saturday afternoon.
Simpson spent the latter half of last season at Liversedge, but the striker is best known for his multiple spells at Garforth where he enjoys legendary status as he scored a century* of goals for the club.
