Defender’s nightmare Jack Mawson has committed to another season with Worsbrough Bridge.
The tough to play against young striker is slowly turning into a Worsbrough stalwart as the 2020/21 season will be effectively his fourth full campaign with them*.
He originally joined them from Pontefract Collieries in the second half of the 2016/17 season and his ‘battering ram’ performances were a big part of Worsbrough staying up under Josh Wright.
The majority of last season’s Worsbrough have signed for next season on top of a handful of new signings.
*Mawson briefly left Worsbrough to join Ossett Town during the 2017/18 season.
