Prolific striker Joe Lumsden has returned to Stocksbridge Park Steels after a few years away.

Lumsden first signed for Stocksbridge in October 2015 from Armthorpe and quickly established himself as a fans favourite and a leading NPL striker.

He’s now back at Bracken Moor after Chris Hilton lured him after stints with Tadcaster Albion and Pontefract Collieries.

Stocksbridge, whose future was secured in the past week, have also retained Luke Mangham and Lewis Whitham, Jordan Lemon, Josh Nodder, Ed Hall, Kurtis Turner, Michael Trench, Reece Fielding, Rob Ludlam, Ross Goodwin, Scott Ruthven and club captain Liam McFadyen.
