Former title-winning Tadcaster Albion striker Carl Stewart has added more power to ambitious Liversedge’s attack.
Stewart joins a forward line which already includes Ollie Fearon and club great Joe Walton.
‘Sedge are hoping the coming season will be one of triumph as they are aiming to reach the Northern Premier Division for the first time in the club’s history.
So with that thinking it is hardly surprising they have brought Stewart in. The striker has scored goals at every club he has served, including Ossett Town, Bridlington Town, Pickering Town and Selby Town. He won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title in 2016 during Billy Miller’s reign at Tad.
Popular defender Kevy Tarangadzo is also back at the club after re-signing for Jonathan Rimmington’s men.
The defender and Stewart arrive on the day the FA officially confirmed September as the planned start date for the new season.
Rimmington has made a host of new signings to go alongside his loyal band of troops who were already with the club. Fearon, Walton, Alfie Raw and Paul Walker are four of many staying and they have been joined several heavyweight players including Ross Daly, Jordan Porter and Adam Field.
