Former Ossett United attacker Alex O’Keefe has joined Penistone Church.
O’Keefe, who joined North West Counties side Shelley in January, arrives at Church along with striker Charlie Baird.
Penistone chief Ian Richards told his club’s website: “Alex O’Keefe is a left sided attacker who joins us from Shelley after impressing for them after joining in January from Ossett United. This included winning the NWCFL player of month for February. He has good pace, quick feet and will give us extra balance and width on the left.
“Charlie Baird joins us after returning from the states earlier this year. He is a player who impressed against us when he was at Worksop Town prior to moving to the USA. A quick, strong, technically good striker whom will continue to develop with us.”
