Goal machine Anees Younis scored two quick-fire goals in Goole AFC’s 2-2 draw at Retford FC.
The former Carlton Athletic forward, who scored 107 goals in three seasons for the West Yorkshire League, was on the score-sheet with a double straight after the interval.
Although that gave Goole a commanding lead, Retford responded and were level by the hour mark.
Younis’ old club Carlton also surrendered a two goal-lead against Emley – which also finished 2-2. Brad Hennessey scored one of Emley’s goals with a header.
A late goal denied North Ferriby victory in the 1-1 draw with South Cave United. Max Brocklesby cancelled out Danny East’s first half opener for Ferriby.
Frickley Athletic were beaten 2-1 at Grimsby Borough – Jack Smith was on target for the Blues.
