The NCEL League Cup is the latest cup competition to be axed for the 2020/21 season.
The League Cup was removed from any potential schedule for the planned campaign, but the NCEL say they want to bring it for 2021/21 – of course assuming normality has returned.
The news follows the scrapping of the West Riding County Cup for 2020/21.
In other NCEL news, already-serving board member Brian Jones, the former FA council member, is the league’s new chairman.
Mr Jones replaces the hugely-popular and long-serving David Morrall, who recently stood down.
The new vice-chairman is Simon Pollard, the league’s development officer.
It’s not looking good so far , Friendlies we cant attend , no WR Cup no League Cup , will we get a full season in ? When do we start ?
