Former Yorkshire Amateur and Eccleshill United striker Adam Shaw has signed for Harrogate Railway.

Shaw, who starred in Railway’s pre-season at Boroughbridge on August 1st, played for Albion Sports last season.

Prior to playing for Albion, he was on the books of Campion and Eccleshill.

Shaw is best known for his spells with the Ammers where he enjoyed very prolific spells under Rick Addy and Phil Harding which at one stage in 2015 earned him a move to Brighouse Town in the Northern Premier League.

He adds much-needed experience to Mick O’Connell’s young side and joins the ever-green Steve Bromley in attack.
