Spectators allowed in from Saturday

Spectators are back

NCEL clubs can have 150 people attending their friendlies from Saturday after the FA released new guidance.

If a club hosts a successful friendly with 150, they can have 300 from Saturday 31st August.

The figure derivates from the minimum capacity requirements. 150 is 15% of 1000 – the minimum capacity for the NCEL.

Clubs at Steps 3 and 4 will be able to admit more spectators as their minimum capacities are higher.

The FA say the changes come after discussions between themselves, the Government and its Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA).
