Paul Sherburn hit the late winner in Armthorpe Welfare’s 2-1 defeat of higher league Grimsby Borough.
Grimsby had taken the lead through Adam Drury, who had burst clear and fired past Armthorpe goalkeeper Richard Watson close to the half-time mark.
Harry Brown’s free levelled the friendly on the hour mark and Sherburn won it for Armthorpe in the dying minutes after latching onto Adam Lee’s cross.
Kallum Findley’s late hat-trick was the highlight for Hall Road Rangers in their 3-3 humdinger with Barton Town.
Leon Sewell’s troops were trailing 2-0 until Findley scored two quick-fire goals with 16 minutes to go to level it up. New Barton striker Luke Anderson did restore Rob Watson’s side’s lead, but Findley struck in the 87th minute to equalise again and complete his treble.
Matthew Morton got two as Swallownest won 3-1 at Luke Forgione’s Houghton Main. Alfie Smith opened the scoring for Jordan Stocks’ men.
Yorkshire Amateur lost 3-2 to leading West Yorkshire League Premier Division side Hunslet Club.
