Two young players have joined the ranks at Worsbrough Bridge.
Dempsey Smith, another Barnsley College footballer who has progressed into Non League Football, has impressed during pre-season and has now signed.
He secured a place in the English Colleges Football Association national squad last December.
The other signing is Oscar Seth from Handsworth. The midfielder played three times for Russ Eagle’s first team last season.
He also played for Brighouse Town in the Northern Premier League during the 2018/19 season.
The pair bolster Worsbrough’s squad which recently lost Liam Owen and the Rollinson brothers Calan and Connor to Dodworth and then Billy Rhodes to long-term injury. Dan Palmer, an influential attacker last season, has also stepped down to Step 7 to play for ambitious Wakefield AFC.
