Former Scarborough Athletic defender Jack Johnson has joined Pickering Town.
The capture of the highly-experienced Johnson is a major boost to Pikes manager Steve Roberts.
Johnson spent three years with the Seadogs until earlier this year and was part of the 2018 promotion-winning side under Steve Kittrick.
Roberts told Pickering’s official website: “Jack was one of my main targets when arriving at the club.
“To say I am excited to get him with us is an understatement. For a young lad he has so much experience at this level and above.
“He can play a number of positions which is a real plus for me and the team. He will slot straight in to the squad and make us so much stronger as a group. For us to get him says how much we are progressing as a club.
“Jack is not only a very good footballer, but he is an even better lad and I can’t wait to work with him again this coming season.”
