Jordan Barnett, a recent signing at Pontefract Collieries, has won a third shot at playing in the Football League.
The former Penistone Church youngster has previously signed for Burnley and home-town club Barnsley.
He was recently released by Barnsley and had signed and had been playing for the Colls until the trial opportunity with Oldham Athletic arose.
Barnett has signed a short-term deal, lasting until January, with the Latics.
