Pickering Town have made two brand new signings ahead of the NPL Division One North West season opener against Workington.
Striker Brandon Morrison was the first player through the door on Thursday. He was then followed by defender Harry Ord.
Steve Roberts said: “Brandon was with Darlington over the last couple of seasons and made a couple of appearances for the first team.
“He gives us a different dimension that we didn’t have. He is big and physical and he also has a good touch and can link the play well. He is young and he will get stronger and fitter now he has joined us.
“Harry has just recently left Sunderland. He spent a number of seasons there and was rewarded with a two year scholarship with the U18s He really impressed me in his first game and at training. He is very calm and assured for a young player. He can play a couple of positions which is a bonus. I look forward to helping him develop this season.”
