Worsbrough Bridge striker Kai Hancock has dropped to Step 7 and signed for Luke Forgione’s Houghton Main.
The former Athersley Rec, Ossett Town and Nostell Miners Welfare hit-man joined Worsbrough last season and also played in pre-season until recently.
He is Forgione’s first major stand-out signing at Houghton and he further strengthens the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior League Premier Division.
Hancock joins a squad containing ex-Worsbrough men Joe Dungworth, and Harry Steeple.
The list of talented NCEL players now plying their trade in Step 7 is quite high now with Hancock joining the likes of the Owen and Rollinson brothers, plus Kieran Hirst, Ash Emmett and the Iceman Danny Frost in the Senior League.
