North West Counties League side Steeton have signed midfielder James Wolfenden.
Steeton boss Roy Mason recently said he wanted to bring more experience into his squad and Wolfenden fits that bill.
Wolfenden has played for Nelson and Prestwich Heys in the past. He actually signed for Steeton prior to the dramatic FA Vase tie with Jarrow. He scored the 25-yard stunner which made it 2-1 before Steeton scored in the 97th minute which forced a penalty shootout which they unfortunately lost.
Steeton remain a week away from their new season as they kick it off at Bury AFC on October 3rd.
