Hemsworth Miners Welfare are playing a home fixture on grass for the last time as the installation of a 3G pitch is set to start next week.
The full details will follow in due course, but Hemsworth have revealed that they have “secured a deal” which will fund the state of art pitch.
The club say it will provide opportunities for the community through education and football.
Clearly given the positive impact 3G pitches have had on other Non League clubs, the potential for Hemsworth to grow on-and-off-the-field is massive.
Hemsworth host Knaresborough Town this afternoon.
