Tadcaster Albion picked up their first league win of the season by putting three past Pontefract Collieries without reply.
Jack Vann’s shot from the far side of the penalty area took a wicked deflection off Fabian Bailey on the stroke of half-time and that set Tad on their way.
The Brewers finished their visitors off with two quick-fire goals midway through the second half. Substitute Omar Sanyang made an instant impact with a near post finish to add the second.
Sanyang then turned provided with a cross which Simon Russell converted.
The clash did end on a sour note as key goalkeeper Michael Ingham had to be helped off after a collision. Defender Andy Milne went between the sticks of the rest of the game.
Even Sanyang’s night not end well as he was sent off in the fourth minute of added time because retaliating.
Ossett United were downed by two late Dunston goals, while Pickering Town lost 3-0 at Ramsbottom United.
