Garforth Town’s all-time top goal-scorer Mark Simpson has arrived at Silsden from Liversedge.
The striker joins an attack already containing Khurram Shazad, Chris Wademan and Leon Hurles-Brook.
If Danny Forrest can get him firing like he was two years ago, Silsden have one hell of a player on their hands.
Between 2014 and 2017, Simpson’s goal record for Garforth was incredible and he was the best forward in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division at one stage, but unsuccessful moves to a handful of clubs has disrupted his form in more recent times.
Simpson started the campaign at Selby Town before signing for ‘Sedge.
