Steeton have been given the green light to play their first competitive game at their new Marley Stadium home.
Roy Mason’s side trained on the brand new 3g pitch for the first time on Tuesday night.
The first game at Marley will on Saturday 14th November when Garstang visit for the North West Counties Division One North clash.
That day will complete a difficult journey which began last year when the club were served notice on their three-year deal to play at Cougar Park.
Because of deadlines to inform the FA of their home venue, it became a race against time to find a new ground.
Ultimately Marley was identified as the most suitable choice and Steeton hope the move there will be the start of a bright future.
Steeton have started the new season into positive fashion and have collected four points out of a possible 15. The victory at Golcar United has been the highlight.
