In-form Richard Medcalf completed a remarkable fight-back for Hall Road Rangers, who won 3-2 at Dronfield Town despite being 2-0 down after 85 minutes.
The chances of Hall Road going into the enforced break on a high were looking doomed when Mark Fereday scored early on and in the 54th minute to give Dronfield a commanding lead.
With time literally running out, Hall Road fired the starting pistol which put them on the path to an unlikely victory.
A close range header from Nathan Walker pulled the first goal back.
Then as the game moved into stoppage time, Walker thought he had rescued a point for Leon Sewell’s men with an effort from an angle.
But the euphoria was only just getting started as Medcalf won it for Hall Road with a low drive.
Swallownest were also undone by two late goals in the 2-1 home defeat to Retford FC.
Alex Lill broke the deadlock for Swallownest in the third minute. Jordan Stocks’ men then led until the last ten minutes.
