Liversedge have asked for shirts from all the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division clubs with ‘Emery 2’ on the back to commemorate the life of Simon Emery.
‘Sedge announced the passing of long-serving coach and volunteer Simon on Friday morning – news which stunned the league.
Simon was a long-term friend of Jonathan Rimmington and the pair have been together from the beginning of their coaching journeys.
Away from ‘Sedge matches, the pair were always seen together scouting or watching various Non League matches across the region.
RIP Simon.
