Penistone Church and Hallam both suffered disappointment in the FA Vase after defeats in the FA Vase second round on Saturday.
Hallam lost 2-0 at home to Northern League giants Shildon while Penistone Church took Longridge Town all the way to penalties.
The ‘away’ game was switched to Penistone and Ian Richards’ men fell behind to a first half goal from Owen Watkinson.
Church pounded on the door for some time and they were eventually rewarded in the 72nd minute when former Hemsworth Miners Welfare striker Nick Guest pounced.
Unfortunately Longridge won the penalty shootout 6-5.
With Grimsby Borough also losing, Liversedge and North Ferriby are the remaining Toolstation NCEL sides left in the competition.
