Youngster Luke McGinnell has left Penistone Church and joined Russ Eagle’s Handsworth.
The defender signed for Penistone after a successful trial period in the summer but made only two unused substitute appearances for the first team.
McGinnell is a Barnsley scholarship product and he has been on the books at Walsall.
He played for Worsbrough’s under 21s last season and at one stage made his first team debut.
His signing has been done in time so he is available for selection for the trip to Staveley Miners Welfare on December 28th.
