Nathan Simms has returned to Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League outfit Houghton Main for a second stint as joint manager with the well-respected Keith Mackie.
The pair replace Jimmy Whitehead who left last week after a short spell in charge.
Simms led Houghton to promotion in his first season at the helm in 2018/19 before stepping down last summer due to work commitments after bringing Luke Forgione to the club.
Former Barnsley head of academy recruitment Mackie has left NPL Division One South East side Belper Town to link up with Simms.
Mackie, father of Non League midfielder Anthony, has also previously worked at Goole AFC, Ossett Town and Maltby Main, among others.
The move ends his long association with bright young manager Grant Black, the Belper boss.
