The FA Council have ratified the decision to curtail the 2020/21 season for Steps 3 to 6 clubs.
The ratification officially brings to a close the crisis-hit campaign which was always destined to fail when it started in September for most clubs.
Curtailment means no further games will be played and the records will remain intact.
It is believed no-one will be relegated, but the FA have opened the door for potential promotion for some clubs as part of the long-planned restructuring of the football pyramid which they have pledged to revisit.
And on what basis do they promote teams after a handful of games
Yep I agree gary. At that level a lot can change during a season… A team lose their first dozen games, get a shoe new set of players in & 4 months later they’re challenging at the top of the div
